SabziNow (“we”, “our”, or “us”) operates the SabziNow mobile application (the “App”) that provides fresh vegetables and fruits delivery services. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect your information when you use our App.
By using the SabziNow App, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.
1. Information We Collect
We collect information that you provide directly and information that is generated when you use the App:
- Account information: Phone number, password (if you set one), and optionally your name and email when you register or complete your profile.
- Location data: Delivery address and, with your permission, device location to show nearby shops and enable delivery.
- Order information: Items you order, quantities, delivery address, and order history.
- Device information: Device identifier and related data used to send you push notifications (e.g. order status updates) via Firebase Cloud Messaging.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to: create and manage your account and authenticate you; process orders and deliver products to your chosen address; show you nearby shops and relevant product availability; send you push notifications about order status and app updates (you can disable these in your device settings); improve the App, fix issues, and comply with legal obligations.
3. Third-Party Services
We use the following third-party services that may process your data:
- Google Firebase for push notifications (Firebase Cloud Messaging). Google’s privacy policy applies: https://policies.google.com/privacy
- Our backend services: your account, order, and location data are sent to our servers to provide the App and delivery services.
- OTP/SMS (if used): we may use a third-party provider to send one-time passwords to your phone for login; that provider’s privacy practices apply.
We do not sell your personal information to third parties for marketing.
4. Data Retention
We retain your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the App, process orders, and comply with law. You may request deletion of your account and associated data (see “Your Rights” below).
5. Data Security
We use industry-standard measures to protect your data, including encryption in transit (HTTPS) and secure storage. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security.
6. Your Rights
Depending on your region, you may have the right to: access the personal data we hold about you; correct inaccurate data; request deletion of your account and personal data; opt out of push notifications via your device settings. 7. Children’s Privacy
The App is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have collected such information, please contact us so we can delete it.
8. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the updated policy on this page and update the “Last updated” date. Continued use of the App after changes means you accept the updated policy.
